While I am on holiday in beautiful Tuscany, one of my coachees is going through a stormy period. I’m secretly coaching her from here (not so) and she seems to be going through great transformations in the last few days. It is truly beautiful to see 🧡
During the coach training we were asked to draw up a value ladder. There was one core value of which I was 100% sure from the beginning. ✨ Impact ✨ Being able to make a difference and get people back in their power is what I love to do.
Many of my coachees work in the legal sector, a sector that I know very well through 10 years of experience. How relieved they are when they can tell their story to someone who understands the full picture and often has enough of half a word or a certain emotion. Someone who does not condemn them and gives them the safety to talk about it openly. Where I have tried fruitlessly for years (to my frustration) to create impact within the legal sector, I only now seem to really succeed from the outside. And what a pleasure that is! ✨
When the same coachee just sent me a voice message, I got tears of happiness in my eyes when listening. She told me how grateful she is that I am there for her, that she feels like she doesn’t have to go through this difficult period alone. That I guide my coachees with love through the acceptance process of the question to which they already know the answer. That I have no idea what kind of impact I have on others.

“It’s a trite number”, a dear friend just told me, “but you always move a stone in a river on earth”. And he’s right. Coaching is encouraging someone to build up. Not by providing the building plan yourself, no. But by stirring up a framework and belief in that person himself.
